Prayer for Men

Father, thank You for Jesus who came as our perfect example of a Godly Man; a Man who showed that Godly living means to walk in spirit and truth; in submission to the Holy Spirit and in obedience to You, His heavenly Father.

Lord, we praise your name because your name is great. There is no other name higher than your name. You are our Provider, Protector, Deliver, Councillor, your glory towers over the earth and heaven. You are worthy, Lord, to receive all glory, honour and praise. In all things you work for the good of those who love you, who have been called according to your purpose.

Father, let Your Kingdom come and your will be done in the life of men on earth as it is in heaven. We pray that your glory be seen in all men who believe in you and work in your ways. Lord we lift up all men everywhere and pray that Your Spirit of grace and truth may rest and remain on each one. May the awesome character of the Lord Jesus be increasingly reflected in each one and may the Christian men throughout the world be Godly witnesses to the truth of the gospel both in their own home and with others, with whom they come in contact.

Have your way in us Father and we pray that when Christian men speak, they will speak your truth and life into every situation. We pray that your word is a lamp for all men’s feet, a light on our path. Help us Lord to be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men and be strong. Let all that we do be done in love.

We pray that all men will show respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity and dignity.

We pray Lord that you help all men to be strong and courageous because you will not leave us or forsake us.

Protect and guard the head of each Christian home and may each man assume his role under only your leadership and to your praise and glory we ask, in Jesus name Amen.
