Pastor Mervyn Tilley

In 2016 Pastor Mervyn Tilley became a mentor for the Five4God Men’s Ministry Leadership Team. This anointed man of God is well known to all of us in the Five4God Leadership Team, spanning over fifteen years for some us in the Leadership Team. We were spiritually fed every Sunday as we fellowshipped at his church, until he retired from his Senior Pastor role in 2013. There is no such thing as retirement from God’s work Pastor Mervyn tells us; he is busier than ever before.

The roots and birth of the Five4God Men’s ministry began through the Spirit led authority handed to us during Pastor Mervyn’s time as Senior Pastor at the Elim Leytonstone Church in 2008, when we were Spirit led to form a Men’s Fellowship for his Church.

Pastor Mervyn is also the Chairman of ‘Focus on Israel’ and takes groups on regular tours to Israel, having visited the country 101 times by the year 2020 already. Pastor Mervyn attended the Elim Bible College from 1959-1961, served at several Elim churches around the country and spent time as an Elim Regional Superintendent for the Metropolitan Region and also served for nine years as a member of Elim’s National Leadership Team. Pastor Mervyn is currently an Elder at Elim Romford Church.

Pastor Mervyn led us spiritually at our Mens Retreat in 2016 to the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire. For the challenging topics you can be assured that Pastors Mervyns 61 years of Serving Christ as a Pastor in 2020, will leave you spiritually fed and deeply learnt in scriptural matters.
